Eucalyptus Smithii Essential Oil is a premium Australian Eucalyptus Essential Oil. It is also known as Gully Gum Essential Oil.

Aromatically it is more spicy, yet also more mellow and woodsy than Eucalyptus Globulus Essential Oil and Eucalyptus Radiata Essential Oil, but, nevertheless, it shares many of the same uses as these potent aromatherapy oils.

Like these other two Eucalyptus aromatherapy oils Eucalyptus Smithii Essential Oil contains large amounts of 1,8 cineole, which means it shares the same safety concerns for young children as these other oils.

    Living in Zimbabwe mosquitoes are quite bad in the summer so we use citronella oil in a spray bottle and spray around when we are on the verandah and also add it to a candle that we burn.
    When we go to the bush on our frequent safari trips, we make our own insect repellent that we spray on our skin, I use citronella, lemon, eucalyptus, clove, peppermint with a drop of liquid soap and then water all mixed in a spray bottle and it works a treat.
