These Conditions of Sale are subject to the Wild As The Wind Terms & Conditions and FAQs published on this website.

Placing an Order

These conditions of sale apply to any order you place through the Wild As The Wind Shop website regardless of how you access the website and orders placed will be treated as confirmation that you have read, understood and agree to these general terms and conditions of sale in their entirety, including the general terms and conditions, privacy policy and website disclaimer. If you do not agree to these general terms and conditions of sale in their entirety, you must not place an order through this website.

Conditions of Use

This website is operated by Wild As The Wind. Our principal contact is via email at info [at] wildasthewind.com where we will endeavour to reply to all messages promptly. By setting up a Wild As The Wind Shop account, you are agreeing to email being used as the standard means of communication.

All orders are subject to acceptance and product availability.

By ordering a product, you accept these terms and conditions.

These terms and conditions are subject to change at any time, and it is your responsibility to check them before placing an order to ensure you are compliant and the terms are acceptable to you.

Payment

Payment must be made in full prior to the shipping of your order. Payment can be made by any of the payment methods indicated on the website. Payment methods may change from time to time. Please check which payment methods we support prior to placing your order.

Shipping & Returns

How Much Is UK Post & Packaging?

We do not charge for the time spent assembling your order. Nor do we charge for packaging. The only shipping cost you will incur when ordering from Wild As The Wind is the cost of postage.

UK Shipping

Wild As The Wind use the Royal Mail 48 Tracked service for the shipping of all UK orders.

UK Deliveries

Royal Mail 48 Tracked post is charged at £4.25, and is the default option for all UK deliveries.

Proof of posting is always obtained, along with the tracking number. This permits parcels to be tracked, if necessary.

UK orders are delivered without charge if your order exceeds the value of £75.00

We reserve the right to split your order if the weight exceeds 2Kg.

Southern Ireland & Europe

Update: Sadly, since the implementation of Brexit all deliveries to Southern Ireland and Europe have been suspended indefinitely. This will be reviewed in due course.

Shipping Times

We aim to dispatch all orders within 3 to 4 working days, but please allow up to 14 days to receive your items. If, for any reason, the items you have ordered are out of stock, we will email you regarding a delivery date. 

If you are dissatisfied with the projected delivery time for out of stock items, we will refund your order in full.

Refunds & Returns

Wild As The Wind will refund returns based on the following grounds:

  • Items damaged in transit – phot evidence required via email.
  • Non-delivery of parcels – properly addressed parcels, lost in transit, after the correct steps have been taken to recover your parcel. (Please see missing parcels for more information.)
  • Dissatisfied customer – where a reasonable claim of dissatisfaction has been made and agreed upon.

Please be aware: The cost of returning the items is borne by the customer.

Refunds will be made to the account which was originally charged for the items within 14 days of receipt of the returned goods. Please note, if a non-faulty product is returned in a less than perfect state, then Wild As The Wind will not be able to provide you with a refund.

Wild As The Wind will be happy to return the rejected product(s) to you, but you will need to pay the subsequent delivery costs for this, in advance. In this instance, no refund will be granted.

What To Include With Your Return

Refunds will be declined unless you include the following with your return:

Returned items must be accompanied by a printed copy of the original proof of purchase. This is automatically delivered via email to the person who placed the order, once the order is finalised.

Order confirmations are sometimes delivered to email spam folders, so please check inboxes and spam folders for the order confirmation. Please consult Why Didn’t I Receive Confirmation Of My Order? for more information.

Returns must also be accompanied by a note explaining the reason for the return, and must reference any email correspondence between Wild As The Wind and yourself, relating to the return, clearly stating the date and time of the emails you are referencing.

You must follow all instructions relating to your return to qualify for a refund. So please read the relevant information properly.

Items Damaged In Transit

Thankfully, parcels are very rarely damaged in transit. If, however, you are one of the very unfortunate few who has received a damaged order, please get in touch right away.

Please contact us via email.

In your email, detail the damaged item(s), providing photographs of the damaged products and packaging.

A refund or replacement will be offered after the items, with the original packaging, are returned to Wild As The Wind.

Missing Parcels

Thankfully, only a handful of orders have ever gone missing in transit. And, the majority were only missing for a short time. 

All of them turned up eventually, rendering a refund unnecessary.

Please note: Wild As The Wind will not issue a refund when you claim that your parcel has gone missing, if:

      • Wild As The Wind can show proof of delivery
      • You failed to collect your parcel from the postal sorting office after you were issued with a postcard by your postal delivery worker, requesting that you do this.
      • You provided an incorrect delivery address.
      • You failed to provide details of a safe place, where your order can be left, in case you are out when your order is delivered.

    Unwanted Gifts

    Regretfully, refunds can only be credited to the credit card or payment account of the person who originally purchased the item.

    To receive a refund for an unwanted gift the item(s) must be returned in their original condition. Bottles must have unbroken seals, and all items must be untainted.

    The cost of returning the item(s) is borne by the person returning the item(s), and they must be properly packaged, with sufficient protective packaging to avoid breakages in transit.

    Refunds will be declined it the item(s) are returned in a damaged state. Please see Packaging Your Returns at the end of the Returns section.

    Wild As The Wind do not refund original shipping costs or any costs incurred by you in returning your unwanted gifts. 

    Dissatisfied Customers

    Wild As The Wind will exercise discretion when considering a refund for dissatisfied customers.

    If customer dissatisfaction, for whatever reason, is reasonable and justified, a refund will be granted. This may include Wild As The Wind failing to meet its usual standard of care, etc.

    Wild As The Wind will not tollerate unreasonable behaviour or demands. Behaving in an unreasonable manner will jepordise any potential refund. This is particularly true if you engage Wild As The Wind in unecessary activity that wastes a lot of time.

    Please note, Wild As The Wind reserves the right to apply service charges and administrative charges if your demands generate an undue workload.

    An undue workload is any exceptional activity that is over and above the normal day to day activities of Wild As The Wind.

    You will be notified that charges will be applied, prior to charges being levied.

    All items being returned must be in their original condition, with unbroken seals on bottle lids. Returns must be made within 14 days of delivery, in exchange for a refund.

    Refunds will be declined if the item(s) are returned in a damaged state. Please see Packaging Your Returns at the end of this Returns section.

    You are liable for the cost of returning the products to Wild As The Wind.

    Wild As The Wind do not refund original shipping costs or any costs incurred by you (P&P etc) if you make a return on this basis.

    However, if Wild As The Wind has failed to achieve its own very high standards, then we will admit fault, and provide a refund in full.

    Packaging Your Returns

    Wrap bottles in bubble wrap or corrugated cardboard, firmly sealing the wrapping around the bottles. Either use an appropriately sized box or jiffy bag to return the items. Use wadding / void-fill to ensure the items are firmly placed within their outer packaging so that they cannot move around within their packaging whilst in transit.

    Items returned in a damaged state will not be refunded.

    You must put your full postal address on the outside of the parcel.

    Returns Address:

    The Wild As The Wind, returns address will be provided on request. But, please note, the parcel you received came with the returns address on the rear of the package.

    Other Compensations

    Wild As The Wind accepts no liability for any adverse reactions to Wild As The Wind products as they have been tested and certified safe. If you have a known allergy to ingredients contained in the products, or you use them when taking contraindicated medications, Wild As The Wind cannot be held responsible for any ensuant adverse reactions.

    Always conduct a patch test to determine if you are going to have an allergic reaction. If you have an adverse reaction to the product, discontinue use immediately.

    We cannot be held accountable for customers using Wild As The Wind products in such a way that is known to be unsuitable for them, generally or personally, or in such a way that deviates from the directed usage. Wild As The Wind also cannot be held liable for any unique or unusual adverse event after the use of Wild As The Wind products, when used in accordance with the usage instructions, as we cannot be held responsible for the individual health status of Wild As The Wind customers. The health of each individual can only be ascertained by the individual themselves. Many items, which are perfectly safe for the many, can become problematical to those with; an impaired immune system, allergies and intolerances, or a genetic predisposition that may lead to an unwanted reaction to natural products. If you are in any doubt as to whether you may have an adverse reaction to a Wild As The Wind product, then we strongly advise you to abstain from using it.
