Let Wild As The Wind Know
Please let Wild As The Wind know of your difficulties, explaining at what point in the payment process the difficulties occurred. Describe what happened when you hit a problem, and please include any error messages you received.
The Website Is Timing Out
Occasionally a payment which is taking a little time to process will ‘time-out’ for security reasons. Again, please let us know and we will try and resolve the issue our end.
Routine Maintenance
Sometimes a problem can occur when we are working in the back-end of the site whilst the website remains live. Obviously, it’s best to try and keep the shop open 24/7, but if we’re doing routine maintenance or publishing a new article or product page, this can sometimes slow the front-end down a little. Again please let us know and we’ll let you know what the issue is, and how long to wait before trying again.
Is The Problem At Your End?
Sometimes the technical issue can be with your router or internet service provider. Please either try accessing your internet connection using a different device, or check at the hub to see that there’s no warning lights showing.
Sometimes the issue is simply too many users trying to use too little bandwith, so maybe wait until there are less users trying to use the internet, or just ask one or two of them to take a 5 minute time-out to let you place your order.
Have You Got Sufficient Funds?
Your inability to place your Wild As The Wind order may mean you have insufficient funds in your account to cover the cost of the payment, even if you think there should be enough to cover the purchase….
There could be a number of reasons why you have insufficient funds in your account, so please read all of the sections in this article carefully… especially if there should be more than enough money in your account to cover your Wild As The Wind order.
Discover If There’s A Temporary Technical Issue At Your Bank
To discover if your bank is experiencing a temporary technical issue you may want to call them?
Banks are not immune to technical issues themselves, so it always pays to make sure your bank’s systems are operating properly.
Banks also take their online banking facilities offline whilst performing routine maintenance. However, they usually notify their customers via email in advance, and they also usually perform online maintenance in the early hours of the morning to avoid most disruptions to their services.
Your bank May Be Holding Your Funds Back
Your bank will reserve the remaining funds in your account to cover future expenses.
For example, there may be a pending payment which could take your account overdrawn, which would mean your bank would not be able to fulfill the necessary payment to fulfill your order with Wild As The Wind as well as meeting your other financial commitments. In this instance, your bank will often prevent you from making purchases which would mean you end up creating an unauthorised overdraft, and facing all of the steep penalties this entails.
However, there may be even more serious reasons why this is the case… especially if you don’t believe there are any large pending payments to be made within your account…
Has Someone Gained Access To Your Funds?
The worst case scenario, is, of course, that someone has found a way to access your funds, and have spent the money you thought was in your account. I very much hope this isn’t the case.
*A very common way people can hack your bank account is through eBay and Amazon accounts, especially if you have automatic payments set up for purchases on these platforms. I have personally had a PayPal account hacked via my eBay account.
Is Your Order Failing For A Different Reason?
Please let Wild As The Wind know of your difficulties, explaining at what point in the payment process the difficulties occurred. Describe what happened when you hit a problem, and please include any error messages you received.
