Discount codes, also known as discount coupons, permit you to purchase items on the Wild As The Wind website at reduced prices.

What Are Discount Coupons?
Discount coupons are issued in the form of discount codes that can be redeemed at checkout.
These discount codes provide shoppers with percentage discounts on the regular retail prices of products available on the Wild As The Wind website.
When a discount code is published, the following will be outlined alongside the offer:
- Discount amount, in percentage terms, e.g: 10% or 20% etc.
- The duration of the offer, from start date to finish date.
- What is included in the offer, i.e. which product categories are included.
Terms and conditions apply to each discount code, but these will not necessarily be provided with each coupon code announcement. However, the terms and conditions remain constant from one promotional offer to the next, and can always be accessed within this document.
Wild As The Wind Discount Codes
Wild As The Wind periodically issue discount codes. These are variously referred to as:
- Discount codes
- Discount coupons
- Coupon codes
- Promotional codes
Despite the different terminology, all of these terms refer to the same thing – a code that you can use to obtain a discount when placing an order, when you apply the code, in the appropriate field, at checkout.

Please note: Postage costs apply to all orders where a discount code has been used, regardless of the value of your purchase. This is explained in more detail below
What Products Are Covered By Each Discount Code?
The type of product being discounted by the coupon code on offer, will be clearly stated. This can include products like:
Emails detailing attempts to apply coupon codes to items that do not qualify for the discounts are regularly received. The most common types of email relate to the desire to apply an essential oil discount code to a facial oil purchase.
Essential oils are very different to facial oils.

Please do not email Wild As The Wind to ask why you can’t apply a specific discount code to products that are not covered by the coupon code.
Who Is Eligible For Wild As The Wind Coupon Codes?
Coupon codes are usually exclusively offered to loyal customers via the Wild As The Wind Newsletter, which is sent out via email to mailing lists subscribers. (The Wild As The Wind Newsletter is hosted on the Substack platform – more on this at the end of this article.)
Coupon codes are also shared more publicly, via the banner at the top of each page of the Wild As The Wind website.
Very occasionally, coupon codes will also be shared via social media. However, owing to time constraints, social media sharing of any kind is becoming less and less feasible. Sadly, therefore, coupon codes will only be shared on social media sites on the rare occasions when there is time to do so.
Please also be aware, it will never be possible to obtain exclusive Wild As The Wind coupon codes via social media.
Exclusive discount coupons are only ever shared via the Wild As The Wind Newsletter for mailing list subscribers.
More often than not, however, discount codes will also be shared within the page-top banner on the Wild As The Wind website. Nevertheless, there is no guarantee that all discount codes will be published in this way.
The restricted access to discount codes, published exclusively via the Wild As The Wind Newsletter, does not prohibit you from sharing discount codes with your family and friends via emails or on social media. In fact, unless otherwise stated, the sharing of discount codes with family and friends, is actively encouraged, if you know of family and friends who would benefit.
You would also be helping Wild As The Wind, as well as your family and friends, by doing this!
So… all Wild As The Wind coupon codes can be shared with family and friends on social media or via email, unless it is expressly stated that sharing is prohibited, when the discount code is issued.
Receive Discount Code Email Notifications
To receive Wild As The Wind Newsletter notifications in your email inbox, you must first subscribe to the mailing list. You can do this via the email subscription invitations that are permanently published on the Home Page and Health News Overview Page, or you can use the subscription pop-up invitation, that appears on your screen, from any page of the Wild As The Wind Website.
The subscription pop-up invitation usually appears on your screen when you are 30 seconds into a session on the Wild As The Wind website.
Please note, not every newsletter will contain a coupon code. This is because the Wild As The Wind Newsletter is used to notify loyal customers of other items of interest. These include:
- New natural health articles that have been published on the Wild As The Wind website
- New product announcements
- Wild As The Wind updates – new business practices & logistical considerations
- Product and business recommendations – highlighting other great UK small businesses
- Videos & articles produced by other natural health sources

Coupon Codes Versus Sale Items
As well as producing coupon codes, Wild As The Wind also offer discounted products via the SALE page. This permits Wild As The Wind to individually discount a single product, instead of applying a discount code to an entire product category.
Individually discounted products are always accessible via the SALE page, from the main navigational menu at the top of each page of this website.
Individual products on sale will often be mentioned in the Wild As The Wind Newsletter, but not always.
In addition, you will not always be notified via the banner at the top of the page that something has been added to the SALE page.
There are no beginning and end dates applied to the individual products included on the SALE page. They will automatically appear when they have been discounted, and will disappear from the SALE page when the discount has been removed.
Products are often added to the SALE page to raise awareness around their existence. It is one of the best ways of making website visitors aware of new products.
Sometimes items are added to the SALE page when they are being discontinued, or if they are on a short ‘sell by’ date. Details of both are often detailed in the Wild As The Wind Newsletter.
Please note: SALE items are excluded from purchases made using promotional codes.
Discount Coupons For Loyal Customers
Loyalty is critical to the success of Wild As The Wind. It is why Wild As The Wind so loyally supports you.
Wild As The Wind regularly publishes discount codes within the Wild As The Wind Newsletter, many of which are exclusive to newsletter readers.
The Wild As The Wind Newsletter is the only means of notifying loyal customers of exclusive discounts. If these exclusive codes were published openly on the Wild As The Wind website, this would mean that everyone would be able to access them.
Discount Coupons For New Customers
Wild As The Wind collaborates with a number of trusted websites to raise awareness. One of the key ways in which we do this is by offering introductory coupon codes to their readers.
These codes are ‘single use’ and can only be applied to the first order made by each new customer of the Wild As The Wind website. Please see the terms and conditions below for more detail.
Discount Code Terms & Conditions
Discount Codes Cannot Be Retrospectively Applied.
Coupon codes must be entered in the designated field at checkout, prior to completing your order.
If you submit an order without applying your discount code, sadly this cannot be changed. This is because orders are processed through third-party payment software, over which Wild As The Wind has no control. Once an order is complete, it cannot be changed.
Discount Codes Do Not Apply To Sale Items.
Discount codes cannot be applied to any items that are already on sale. However, you are free to buy these individually discounted items, at the published discounted price, as part of your order. So you will still make the savings specified. You will just not receive any additional percentage discounts, on top of the sale price, by using your coupon code.
Coupon Codes Cannot Be Used Before Or After Their Satrt & End Date
Coupon codes are digitally created with a start date and an end date. Once they are running, and the details have been published, it isn’t possible to ammend the duration of the offer.
Minimum Spend
Some coupon codes may stipulate a minimum purchase amount before the discount can be applied. You will be notified of this when the discount code is published in the WIld As The Wind Newsletter.
If you are seeing the coupon code for the first time in the universal banner at the top of the page, then look out for phrases like: ‘Minimum £30.00 spend required’ or ‘Spend £30 to qualify’, etc…
Postage Costs
Postage costs apply to all orders where a discount code has been used, regardless of the value of your purchase. This is because free postage options are deactivated when greater savings are applied via the use of a coupon code.
Multiple Coupon Codes
Sometimes more than one coupon code may be running concurrently / within the same time frame, offering differing discount rates for different items. However, only one coupon code can be applied to each order, so please decide which coupon code provides you with the most benefit, and apply this one to your order.
Single Use & Multiple Use Discount Codes
Occasionally multiple use coupon codes, that can be used more than once, are granted to therapists and long-term customers. However, most coupon codes are single use, and any attempt to apply them to a second order will fail. Unless you are expressly notified that a coupon code is for multiple use, please assume that it is a single use code.
UK restrictions
Regretfully, Wild As The Wind currently only ships orders within the UK. This means that coupon codes can only be used by those who wish their order to be sent to a UK address.
Using Your Coupon Codes
Please remember, each discount code has a specified duration, ranging from the start date and terminating at the specified end date. Coupon codes can only applied to orders during the specified timeframe as they are automatically activated and deactivated in accordance with the preset dates.
In order to activate your coupon code you must enter it into the correct coupon field at checkout. This is found below the order summary.
If you are using a desktop or laptop, the order summary will appear in a separate column to the right of your screen. If you are using a tablet or phone, the order summary will appear as part of a single column, due to display size constraints.
The order summary details the items in your basket. Once you have scrolled through these, the field for the coupon code should be listed next.
Depending on the device you are using, you may need to open up the coupon code field by clicking on a downward pointing arrow. This is directly to the right of where it says “Coupon Codes’.
This will open up the correct field where you can enter your discount code.
Therapist Discount Codes
If you are a therapist who supports the use of essential oils and carrier oils, and you are willing to add details about Wild As The Wind to your website, you can request a therapist discount code.
You do not need to be an aromatherapist. Therapist discount codes have been awarded to a wide range of therapists, from acupuncturists to counselling therapists. Please see the UK Therapists page to view details of some of the participlating therapists.
Wild As The Wind Newsletter Substack Subscriptions
As mentioned earlier, discount codes are mainly issued exclusively via the Wild As The Wind Newsletter, which is hosted on the Substack platform. However, the newsletter is not simply dedicated to the publication of discount codes. It also features articles, videos, product updates, product announcements and news items, etc…
The Wild As The Wind Newsletter is a free digital publication, but there’s an option to pay for it, if you would like to.
Because the Wild As The Wind Newsletter is on a public platform, this means that all published information can be accessed at all time, no matter when you join the mailing list. Nevertheless, all previously published discount codes will likely have expired within the archived posts.
Unlike social media platforms, you do not have to join Substack to subscribe to the Wild As The Wind Newsletter. You can subscribe by simply registering the email address you wish newsletter notifications to be sent to.
However, please note, you must create an account if you want to actively interact on the platform, such as; liking a post, or commenting on an article, etc. You also have to join Substack to become a paid subscriber to the Wild As The Wind Newsletter.
Invitations for subscribing to the Wild As The Wind Newsletter are available on the Home page and the Health News Overview page, where free-to-access natural health articles can be accessed.
There is also a subscription pop-up window, that appears after 30 seconds, when you arrive on the Wild As The Wind website, during each visit.
Once you have subscribed to the Wild As The Wind Newsletter you will receive updates via email.
