Caring For Your Facial Oil
Keep in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. (Can be kept in the fridge in the summer.)
Always replace the pipette back in the bottle immediately after use, and screw down firmly.

FACIAL OIL No. 2 has been tested on thousands of people over the process of several years, with only a small number of people (less than 10) displaying any form of reaction. In all cases, there were chronic underlying health issues, and the reaction was very mild:
- A moderate increase in perceived temperature of the skin, where tested (hand or arm).
- A moderate increase in colour, (pinkness of the skin).
Thousands of women, who have known allergies to ‘fragranced’ and other synthetic products, and suffer from exceedingly sensitive skin, have the opposite effects when using FACIAL OIL No. 2.
2 years on and I, (50 +), am still using no. 2. I wouldn’t be without it. Apart from the relaxing smell, great feeling on my skin, and reduction in fine lines, it has gotten rid of very sore open creases in my eye lids. Several trips to doctors, and using over the counter creams, had limited or no effect. But, I haven’t had a break out since I have been using facial oil no. 2.

Applying Facial Oil No. 2
Using Facial Oil No. 2 couldn’t be easier. Simply follow these steps…
- Remove makeup
- Exfoliate if needed, using hot water & a muslin cloth
- Apply toner, if desired. (You will need less facial oil if you use a Hydrosol Toner.)
- Place the pipette a few centimetres above your hand, and squeeze 2- 6 drops of facial oil on the pads of your fingers.
- Replace the pipette in your facial oil bottle, closing it with your other hand.
- Avoid touching your skin with the dispensing pipette to keep your facial oil sterile.
- Rub the tips of your fingers together to spread & warm the oil.
- Inhale deeply whilst warming the oil to enjoy the calming & relaxing benefits of this oil. Place the tips of your fingers just beneath your nose as you gently rub your fingers together.
- After a couple of inhalations, gently press your oil coated fingertips onto for forehead, cheeks and chin, then gently rub the oil into your face.
- Facial Oil No. 2 is suitable for application on eyelids as well as your face.
- Use a little more oil if you intend to moisturise your neck & décolletage.

My skin is pretty damaged by the sun and I suffer super rosey cheeks but even after such a short use of the oil my face is smooth as a baby’s bum without being greasy – the oil is sucked right into my skin! I met you a few months ago when you were at the Bridport market. I was given a bottle of facial oil no2 as a Christmas gift and I have to say I was sceptical as I thought it would be messy compared to using creams, I was so wrong the oil is so good. I’ve been consistently using Facial Oil #2 for over a year now and I find it has greatly improved overall condition of my complexion. I used to suffer with eczema and extreme skin dryness both of which have been resolved. The product smells divine and when applied feels very pleasant and does not leave a heavy or greasy feel one often gets with regular skin oils. It absorbs quickly and leaves skin feeling silky and smooth. It’s worth mentioning that the smell of the product is very deep and complex- from flowery, citrus, herbal to warm woody notes- hence I take some time to rub the oil between my palms and smell it before massaging into the face. I find it helps me to calm my nervous system down and indulge myself before a long day. By far the best skin product I’ve encountered!

I don’t have the worst of skin problems but I felt like I’ve never had truly clear skin or fully escaped my teenage oily combination complexion. I tend to always have at least a few minor spots/blackheads or blemishes kicking around and then a more moderate breakout at least once a month Like many, I have tried various things over the years for my skin with negligible success. Then I stumbled upon this facial oil when I was actually just looking for some quality pure grade essential oils. Although I’ve developed a skepticism with products claiming to be ‘the one’ and my subsequent lack of success, I was strongly persuaded to try it by reading the countless testimonials from customers here, some who mentioned having issues similar to myself. Now here I am writing my own, to add my praise too. I have used it for about 1-2 months and by far it has been the most successful product I have ever used on my skin, I’m 38 now so it’s been a long time coming… just wish I’d discovered it sooner. I’ve had fairly clear skins spells and my breakouts (which are hormone related) seem to be a lot less aggressive now. I’ve used no. 2 in combination with no. 8 as recommended. Alternating between them each week and applying in the evening. Having used oils before, instead of face creams, Wild As The Wind oils really are something. I have combination skin and these oils soak into my skin straight away which was a very pleasant surprise. I call it a food for my face ???? because it has recovered my skin from being dry in places to looking nice and even. It showed good results straight away but is also taking its natural time to repair… Especially scarring from accidentally burning myself with a warm wax on my jaw.
My first impression of No. 2 was – it smells beautiful and genuine, so its very soothing for other senses too. Beautiful golden colour. You know you’re applying some good stuff on your skin but at the same time you feel as if you’ve visited an aromatherapy clinic. Very relaxing.

Honestly, my skin misses No. 2 too much when I take a break from it! There is nothing like it for my mature and complicated rosacea skin that gets especially dry and irritated in autumn and winter. I recently thought I’d save money and use an oil blend by another known aromatherapy brand (Primavera) – such a bad idea…outbreaks and skin peeling off in layers, it was lacking the rich supply of essential oils with their healing properties that No. 2 offers and did not have the right combination of base oils for me. Oil no. 2 does so much in one bottle for my skin that nothing else ever seems to be able to – my rosacea troubled skin is prone to redness and outbreaks, but can also get very dry and brittle in patches, and now that I’m 50 those wrinkles are showing more than before. Using No. 2 regularly over the last 2 years or so has just helped so much to reduce the redness and despite my doubts if a facial oil would suit my complicated skin it helps reduce any spot outbreaks too. AND on top of that it smells just divine, such a treat for the senses! Following Rachel’s suggestion, I used it on my hands in winter, and it was just incredible how it ended up being the first winter without Raynaud’s induced chillblains for 3 months. Rachel offers such expert advice and excellent customer service, and her personal, handwritten notes with every oil delivery are such a unique and special touch – thank you for all you do, Rachel!! P.S.: this oil is such excellent value for money and really lasts because you don’t need to use much, especially if you remember to use your toner etc first to allow your skin to fully open up to receive all the goodness.

Facia Oil number 2 and Facial Oil number 8 Update
It’s been some months since my last review and my skin has been through a lot since then… from stress related dehydration and break outs etc. But as soon as these issues have appeared the Wild As The Wind Facia Oils work their magic by soothing and correcting the problems quickly.
My favourite has to be Facial Oil number 2 only because that is the one I use the most. I use Facial Oil number 8 when I don’t need as much moisture, just the corrective ingredients, and it’s perfect for me.
I’m hooked on these hand blended Facial Oils from Rachel, as I am with all her products. She’s a person you can truly trust. She puts her heart and soul into what she does.

I first met Rachel at the market Glastonbury and got chatting and after smelling the divine oils and hearing what she said about them, I bought the starter kit with oil 2 and 8. ( plus she had great skin so was a good advert for it as she said that`s all she used on her face !) Facial Oil No 2
I have only had my No2 oil for a couple of weeks but wow what a huge difference to my skin texture already! The quality of the oil is rich, but certainly not thick, and its easily absorbed into my skin. The fragrance from the oils is simply divine.
My skin has altered and is now soft to the touch with no dryness and I feel my lines of age are less apparent. I did find that if I used the No2 on my face and followed with my facial massager it was like I was having a mini facelift plus it seemed to push the oils further into my skin too.

Update to Facial oils
I have both the Facial oil 2 and the Facial oil 8 now and have used both for several weeks.
My skin feels amazingly nourished and plump with less wrinkles. The fragrance from these beautiful oils is ‘Heaven Scent’.
Over the years I’ve spent outrageous amounts of money on skin products that are supposed to be ‘the fountain of youth’, only to realise it’s all marketing hype.
Rachel’s Facial Oils are the best products I have ever used and deliver the results I have always wanted. I certainly won’t be buying any other products from anywhere else.

2 years on and I, (50 +), am still using no. 2. I wouldn’t be without it. Apart from the relaxing smell, great feeling on my skin, and reduction in fine lines, it has gotten rid of very sore open creases in my eye lids. Several trips to doctors, and using over the counter cremes, had limited or no effect. But, I haven’t had a break out since I have been using facial oil no. 2. My 13 year old uses the no. 8 on her face as it is lighter. I often use the no.8 in the day to give my skin a change.

Wow! Wow! Wow! I stumbled on this website by accident (It turned out I’m SO glad I did!! ) as I was looking for a 100% natural facial oil to try. I had the hormonal lower jaw pre-period tender spots but what can I say this number 2 facial oil works like magic!! My spots have disappeared, my fine lines have improved in the short period of time I have been using it and absolutely smells divine! I think I am possibly on order Number 3 or 4 of facial oil No 2!!
I suffer with Cystic acne, the type where you get a huge spot that is angry, red and sore and takes ages to come out and then heal. But since using facial oil No2 that has all changed, I love the way it calms my cystic acne right down faster than anything else I have tried. I recently stopped using the oil and after a while I had 2 spots come up, I couldn’t get rid of them with anything so ordered some more facial oil No.2 and as soon as it arrived I dabbed some on and by the next day they were half the size and not angry…..just healing.

I have been using this gorgeous N0 2 facial oil for about four weeks and I honestly love it. It smells incredible and is the colour of liquid Amber. My skin can become quite dry but this beautiful potion keeps it soft and hydrated throughout the day. The number 2 oil is incredible! I’ve used it on and off for a few years now and everytime I run out or try a different product and my skin starts to not feel my own… I remember! It really is such a treat, it smells insane, it feels so beautiful on the skin. Its honestly such a treat to put on, I put some on my finger tips and take some deep breaths and then apply to my face and neck.

Wow what a fantastic product! Genuinely impressed as I must have been conned by expensive facial creams before. Makes sense to put oil on your skin as your skin has natural oils anyway. It has literally made such a difference on one big wrinkly that I have, and weirdly considering it is not a moisturiser, feels as though the skin is moisturised and we’ll protected. I rarely write reviews but thought it deserves it as it truly works on wrinkles! Wow! Great stuff! Highly recommended!

You mention it feels very moisturising and that it works better than really expensive creams… this is because EFA’s (essential fatty acids) are what moisturise the skin and FACIAL OIL No. 2 is full of them… the 75% to 95% tap water in the ‘high-end’ creams you mention do nothing to moisturise the skin because humans are waterproof! The water evaporates before it’s absorbed. However, some of the oils in No. 2 help the skin retain moisture, which is the best way of doing things.

THE most beautiful facial oil/moisturiser I have ever used. I work outside all year so my skin takes a battering. I feel like I am doing the very best for my skin by using this oil. Love this oil, it Took a few days for My skin to Adjust But I’ve seen a noticeable improvement in the condition of my skin, it looks much more nourished and dark circles are much less than they were before, which has always been a problem for me! My skin is simply glowing. I’m sure it would be noticeable to others if we weren’t in the middle of a pandemic!

Love love facial oil no 2. My skin has never felt and looked so good! My scars (from deep spots) have almost gone. I use the cleanser and toner first which really opens up my pores allowing all of the essential oils from the facial oil to soak in!
