Traditional Steam Inhalation

If you want to use your Five Allies 2022 Essential Oil Blend in a more traditional way, you can do the following…

***Remove all makeup.

Place up to 5 drops of Five Allies 2022 Essential Oil Blend in a large bowel of steaming hot water. Then lean forward until your face is hovering about 12 inches / 20 cm above the steaming hot water. Then place a towel over your head and extend it to encompass the outer edges of the bowl. This traps the essential oil infused steam so that the benefits are intensified.

Only stop when the water cools and no more steam is forthcoming.

Keep your eyes closed throughout.

***It’s a great idea to deep cleanse your facial skin with a Hydrosol Toner after a steam inhalation. This is because the steam really opens up your pores, and so, cleansing with a good toner will allow a very deep cleanse of your pores.

Make Your Own Disinfectant & Surface Cleaner:

When added to a bottle of distilled vinegar, (40 drops of Five Allies 2022 Essential Oil Blendto a 568ml bottle of Distilled Vinegar), this formidable combo can be used to disinfect work surfaces, floors and bathrooms etc. It will also cut through limescale better than any synthetic chemical alternative!

Replace the plastic lid of your distilled vinegar with a trigger spray bottle top for ease of use, and always shake well before spraying.

When tackling limescale, spray the target area at least 5 minutes before intending to wipe it clean. The acid in the vinegar will soften the limescale, making it easier to wipe it away.

If there is a significant limescale build-up, you may still need to use some elbow grease to lift it in its entirety. Just make sure you use plenty of your vinegar solution, and let it rest longer, (up to half an hour), to soften the lime as much as possible.

Make Your Own Hand Sanitiser

Wild As The Wind is much loved for its natural hand sanitiser recipes. Not only are they non-toxic, natural alternatives to synthetic chemical hand sanitisers, which often leave hands cracked and dry, they also smell fantastic and make our hands feel like silk!

All you need to make your own natural Five Allies 2022 Essential Oil Blend hand sanitiser is some Aloe Vera Gel and some distilled water, (mixed at a ratio of 50:50 in a spray atomiser bottle). This forms the base of your hand sanitiser. Then, just add your Five Allies 2022 Essential Oil Blend at a ratio of 20 drops per 100ml.

***Pre-boiled water, when cooled, can be used instead of distilled water.

It is best to use your hand sanitiser made using Five Allies 2022 Essential Oil Blend intermittently.

It’s possible to use a hand sanitiser made using Five Allies 2022 Essential Oil Blend on a daily basis without interruption. However, it’s again best to alternate with a hand sanitiser made with Five Gentle Allies Essential Oil Blend to avoid becoming in any way desensitised to the healing powers of the essential oils in Five Allies 2022 Essential Oil Blend.

Plus, when you use both versions alternately, this will prevent another potential problem.

When we use the same products daily, or eat the same foods every day, we run the risk of bioaccumulating some of the ingredients within our livers or within our fat. Alternating oils will prevent the bioaccumulation of any of the ingredients in these two oil blends.

Diluting Five Allies 2022 Essential Oil Blend For Topical Use

Five Allies 2022 Essential Oil Blend must be properly diluted in a suitable carrier oil prior to topical application.

Organic Nigella Sativa Oil is ideal for this.

The following dilution advice is for adults. Amounts should be, at least, halved for children, depending on their age.

Amounts of essential oil blend should be reduced to 1/4 of the stated amounts for adults for children under the age of six years of age.

Five Allies 2022 Essential Oil Blend should be diluted at a maximum 5% dilution before local topical application can take place. But, because the essential oils in this blend are very potent, a blend of 2%, 3% or 4% essential oil to carrier oil would still be very effective.

If you intend to apply your diluted oil to a good-sized area, such as a full forearm, then use a maximum 3% dilution.

Larger surface areas should receive an even more diluted oil… 2% for a full arm, or for abdominal use, and a 1% dilution for any areas larger than this.

ALWAYS PERFORM A PATCH TEST BEFORE APPLYING A DILUTED OIL TO A LARGE AREA OF YOUR BODY!

1% Dilution: c. 20 – 25 drops of essential oil blend in 100ml of carrier oil

2% Dilution: c. 40 – 45 drops of essential oil blend in 100ml of carrier oil

3% Dilution: c. 60 – 65 drops of essential oil blend in 100ml of carrier oil

4% Dilution: c. 80 – 90 drops of essential oil blend in 100ml of carrier oil

5% Dilution: c. 100 – 110 drops of essential oil blend in 100ml of carrier oil
