Wild As The Wind Products Containing Organic Oregano Essential Oil
Wild As The Wind Organic Oregano Essential Oil
The Wild As The Wind Organic Oregano Aromatherapy Oil is exceptional. It is sourced from our favourite Organic producer of essential oils in Bulgaria, where the soil quality and levels of sunshine impart incredible benefits to plants grown in this region.
Medicinal herbs grown in these kinds of environments are much more potent than those grown in inferior conditions.
Essential oils extracted from these herbs are, therefore, quite phenomenal.
This is why the Wild As The Wind Organic Oregano Aromatherapy Oil is an extremely potent form of this aromatic essential oil.
Wild As The Wind also offer an Wild Crafted Organic Oregano Essential Oil as well as an Ethically Sourced Oregano Essential Oil.
Organic Oregano Essential Oil Aroma
Organic Oregano Essential Oil has a pungent aroma which can sometimes overpower more delicately scented aromatherapy oils.
Organic Oregano Aromatherapy Oil is herbaceous, spicy, crisp and almost camphorous, with mild citrusy overtones. It is the Phenol, Cravacrol, which lend this essential oil it’s most potent aromatic qualities.
Organic Oregano Essential Oil Benefits
Organic Oregano Essential Oil is invigorating and stimulating. It is particularly popular for diffusing during cold and flu season, and for reviving those who feel as though they may be ‘coming down with something’.
Organic Oregano Aromatherapy Oil is also a popular choice for DIY eco-cleaning & green household products.
**Just like Organic Tea Tree Essential Oil, it can be added to your laundry detergent to disinfect both your wash & washing machine. It is capable of killing mould, viruses, & bacteria which lurk inside your washing machine.
However, the preferred option for laundry use is Organic Lemon Tea Tree Essential Oil as it is aromatically more appealing.
Perfumery Note: Middle
INCI: Oreganum Vulgare
Organic Oregano Essential Oil is one of the most potent essential oils there is. It is stream distilled from the medicinal herb Oregarum Vulgare into a highly concentrated essential oil.

Organic Oregano Essential Oil Attributes
Organic Oregano Essential Oil is a great balancing essential oil.
I had terrible issues with my stomach and digestive system on many levels but nothing the doctors gave me has helped.
I have to say I was dubious at first but since using the Nigella and Oregano my life has changed. Such a relief.
I would say I now have a ‘normal’ life in that regard and the help that Rachel gave me has been a real revelation.
I am so grateful to her and can only recommend her in the highest regard.
Cheers Rachel

I have just ordered the nigella & oregano oils, as per the amazing info on Wild As The Wind, in order to do a parasite cleanse, just in case… thank you for shedding light on this!
But I was wondering once you’ve done the 2 rounds of the parasite cleanse (next full moon is 14th March, then 13 April according to the website I checked,) what then? Is it something that is recommended yearly/bi-annuslly? Does my boyfriend have to cleanse too? Can I re-catch them from him, if he’s not cleansed? (I realise you “could” inadvertently consume a parasite egg at any time.) I just wondered what the maintenance of this was? I watched a video of spinal surgeon discussing that microscopic parasites are often the cause of most “dis-ease” and recommended the use of ivermectin, on an on going basis of 3 days on 5 days off… then after a month, 3 days on 10 days off, to the point where your were taking ivermectin for 3 days a month around full moon, in order to maintain being parasite free… and thought, I know a lady who does this holistically, without the pharmaceuticals, hence my order for this… but as I said, my question is about “maintenance.” Or would you become “inhospitable” to reinfection of parasites after using the nigella/oregano?
Any guidance/advice is greatly appreciated, and, once again, thank you for shedding light on this!
Rachel Wild –
Thanks so much for your great questions! There is no way of inoculating ourselves against repeated parasitic infection… and we actually wouldn’t want to. Some parasites can be beneficial, and our body, alongside the natural world, contains the intelligence to determine which things are beneficial and which things aren’t.
Aromatherapy oils and carrier oils are essentially made up of the immune systems of plants, which are all trying to protect against specific pathogens, just as we are… so, when we use essential oils and carrier oils, we are supplementing our own natural defences against things that may be harmful.
It’s important to remember, however, that humans enjoy a symbiotic relationship with many bacteria, fungi, viruses and even some parasites. Our immune system resides mainly in our gut. 80% of our immunity is provided by the friendly bacteria, yeast, viruses etc. that reside there, without which we would not be able to digest our food, and defend against pathogenic strains of bacteria, viruses, yeasts and parasites.
One of the most incredible examples of the way that humans have evolved in sympathy with our “invaders” is in the way we have incorporated mitochondria into each and every cell of our bodies.
Mitochondria, now part of our cell structures, are what produce our energy. Without them, and their ability to produce ATP, we would be dead in less than 15 seconds.
However, many millennia ago, our mitochondria were uniquely separate organisms that decided to dwell within us. And, it was only the process of evolution, within our bodies, that led us to incorporate them into our being.
In reality, the human form remains largely made up of ‘other entities’, without which we would not survive.
So, it is important to avoid indiscriminately killing off anything. It is more important to ensure that we look after all of our allies as well as possible, to prevent unfriendly infections.
Diet is key in this endeavour, as is lifestyle. Our environment is also critical… the less synthetic the better!
Our bodies struggle to understand anything synthetic. Food is information, as is our emotional response to our lives and environment. But, synthetic substances are alien, and don’t speak a language that our bodies can understand… so it confuses them in to performing functions that are out of the norm… upsetting homeostasis, creating vulnerabilities and likely predisposing us to infection…
For this reason, I wouldn’t reach for a synthetic medication, even one with a purported long history of safety. For example, there are concerns, presented in the scientific literature, that Ivermectin may cause permanent / long-term infertility. However, using certain essential oils, particularly those with emmenagogic constituents, may make us temporarily less able to support pregnancy, until we have eliminated the residues of these oils from our system. This, will, of course, happen quickly, via the normal excretory functions of the body, so essential oils, which are considered emmenagogues, will only ever exert a very temporary influence on the body.
Ultimately, an approach of “prevention being better than a cure”, is the best approach…
And, in terms of prevention, the things mentioned above, like environment, life-style and diet are critical… with food hygiene being of paramount importance.
For example, the argument that rages about avian flu is an interesting one. Many believe that it’s not the wild population of birds that are the issue, and instead point to the industrial production of commercially reared birds in huge facilities as the problem. Keeping massive breeding sheds completely sanitary is difficult to achieve, and the health of the birds is thought to be compromised due to the artificial environment within which they are reared. Their artificial, genetically modified food sources are also being questioned on the basis that these kinds of feeds will further compromise the health of commercially reared birds.
Add to this the routine use of antibiotics and other synthetic medications, for treatment, and fattening of the birds, and it’s clear to see there is merit to the argument.
In fact, many voices are speaking out against the routine use of antibiotics for fattening poultry and livestock, holding this practice largely responsible for the creation of antibiotic-resistant superbugs, the prevalence of which is presenting medicine with one of the biggest medical challenges ever faced. (Thankfully there are a good number of essential oils that can remediate antibiotic-resistant superbugs, even MRSA… I will be publishing an article on this before too long, so please join the mailing to receive an email notification of when it’s available.)
However, even organic, small-scale production of food can present us with health challenges. Manure is the best way of regenerating soil and providing it with the nutrients needed to grow really healthy, vitamin and mineral-rich, veggies and fruit. So, thoroughly washing your vegetables and fruits before consumption is important.
Parasites are usually contracted through poor food hygiene, either at home or in restaurants or food facilities. This means there is always going to be an ongoing risk of parasitic infection. This is why authoritative voices, within the natural heath space, advocate for regular parasite cleanses.
Due to the frequency of what is advocated, it’s best to use the least negatively impactful means of doing this, provided it will give you the desired results. Using Food Grade Organic Nigella Sativa Oil, which possesses many health-promoting properties, alongside Organic Oregano Oil, which also exerts many ancillary benefits, is one of the best ways of doing this. Another good way of doing it is using Nature’s Answer’s Wormwood, Clove & Black Walnut Husk preparation, perhaps alternating these treatments from time to time?
Some advocate for parasite cleanses every four months, and some suggest twice a year. On the basis that too much of a good thing isn’t good for us, I recommend a routine annual parasite cleanse, and then additional cleanses if we feel the need… i.e. we start to display symptoms of a parasitic infection.
Aside from food induced parasitic infections, due to poor hygiene methods of production, or poor personal hygiene of the people handling our food in food processing plants and restaurants, we can pass parasite infections to those we share intimacy with. So yes, it’s best if families and couples perform parasite cleanses together, at the same time.
I hope that this addresses all of your questions and concerns, and gives you more context within which to understand the recommendations better. Sending love. x x x x

As soon as one of us feel flu or something coming on I mix 1 drop thyme, 1 drop tea tree and 1 drop oregano oil in some coconut oil and apply that 3 times a day.
