Description
Organic Evening Primrose Oil
Organic Evening Primrose Oil is a very important carrier oil with a very low comedogenic value.
Organic Carrier Oils with a low comedogenic value do not clog pores and potentially cause breakouts. This means that Organic Evening Primrose Oil is suitable for people of all skin types, even those with sensitive skin.
In fact, Organic Evening Primrose Oil may even prove beneficial for those with sensitive and problem skin. This is because Organic Evening Primrose Oil has been shown to be a very anti-inflammatory oil, making it potentially helpful for problem skin.
Full of Omega-6, and Omega-6 metabolites, which constitute between 80% to 90% of the oil content, Organic Evening Primrose Oil is a very moisturising, but light oil.
Evening primrose oil (EPO) is extremely high in linoleic acid (LA) (70–74%) and γ-linolenic acid (GLA) (8–10%), which may contribute to the proper functioning of human tissues because they are precursors of anti-inflammatory eicosanoids.
