Description
Calm Essential Oil Blend
This Calm Essential Oil Blend has been developed for times of elevated anxiety and stress. A little stress is a good thing, as it helps to tune the body, and keep everything functioning properly. But, too much stress is unhealthy for our bodies, so using essential oils to dampen excessive stress is a good thing.
Calm Essential Oil Blend For Stress
Reducing excessive stress levels is key to a well functioning body. This is because stress undermines our immune system and emotional health, and is responsible for deregulating other important systems and functions within our body.
Calm Essential Oil Blend has been developed to help nip emotional stress in the bud, before negative downward spirals can occur. It is also a detoxifying agent, which will help de-stress some of the physical stressors we are exposed to on a daily basis.
This makes Calm Essential Oil Blend both emotionally and physiologically beneficial when it comes to reducing stress levels within our bodies.
Plus, the way in which we use Calm Essential Oil Blend, via a process of inhalation, means that it directly accesses the parts of our brain needed to reduce the stress response within our body. This means that it can work very quickly to provide relief, and avert more extreme and harmful states.
Sources Of Stress
Stress can come from our emotional state, and it can also come from physical sources. A lot of us have developed an intolerance to chemical stressors, due to over-exposure to the synthetic chemicals in cleaning products, personal care products, scented candles, laundry detergents etc, etc… And many of us are struggling with the negative impacts of wireless technology, most of us without even knowing it.
Modern technologies and synthetic chemicals are placing an intolerable burden on our nervous systems, leading to emotional dysregulation, anxiety states, insomnia, and ultimately chronic depression.
Modern technologies present us with a double whammy! Not only are the devices emitting harmful radiation and damaging blue and green light, but often the content we access via our devices can be very emotionally challenging. All of this amounts to a lot of stress, that if left unmitigated, can cause chronic emotional issues.
Add to this, our exposure to other environmental toxins, like mould, which thrives within a wireless tech environment, and pesticides, as well as super-bugs created through the misuse of antibiotics etc, and it’s clear our nervous system and immune system have unhealthy levels of stress to deal with.
Plus, a lot of processed food is heavily toxic and stressful for our bodies, especially sugar laden, dairy and grain-rich foods, which are usually our favourites!
Calm Essential Oil Blend & Daily Stressors
Calm Essential Oil Blend has been formulated to provide people with an affordable means of managing their stress levels. As money worries are one of the key forms of stress, it’s important that Calm Essential Oil Blend is as affordable as possible.
Calm Essential Oil Blend Ingredients
Calm Essential Oil Blend contains three affordable ethically sourced essential oils:
- Bergamot FCF Essential Oil
- Rosemary Cineole Essential Oil
- Geranium Essential Oil
Bergamot FCF Essential Oil
Bergamot FCF Essential Oil regulates and balances all aspects of our nervous system… the central and autonomic nervous system…
This makes it of full-spectrum benefit for all of the symptoms of nervous system disorder:
- Hyperactivity + restlessness
- Sluggishness + exhaustion + chronic fatigue
- Emotional imbalances: anxiety + depression
- Prolonged stress + tension (environmental toxins, emotional stress, chronic illness etc)
Bergamot FCF Essential Oil is antidepressant + anxiolytic (antianxiety) when inhaled.
It is also sedative. Bergamot FCF Essential Oil calms and relaxes our nervous system by lowering blood cortisol and corticosterone, which are both stress hormones. In addition, it interacts with another important hormone required for good nervous system function. It stimulates melatonin, which is necessary for sleep.
Although sedative, it’s also a stimulant, increasing neurotransmitter amino acid levels in the hippocampus. Specifically, the neurotransmitter amino acids influenced are glycine, GABA and glutamine.
Bergamot FCF Essential Oil increases the neurotransmitter, Gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA), which is responsible for blocking impulses between nerve cells in the brain. Low levels of GABA are known to exacerbate emotional disorders, epilepsy and chronic pain.
As an antispasmodic, Bergamot FCF Essential Oil acts as a neurotonic, helping to rebalance our nervous system, including the autonomic nervous system.
Bergamot FCF Essential Oil is also a tonic, exerting neuroprotective influences.
As a lymphotonic, with hepatoprotective properties, (supports liver function) it helps with the detoxification of harmful chemicals. Our liver, is our most important detox pathway.
As a choleretic, Bergamot FCF Essential Oil helps support liver function by stimulating bile production & evacuation, and it also promotes a hypocholesterolemic action, lowering cholesterol levels.
It is also antispasmodic.
Bergamot FCF Essential Oil supports digestive health. Our digestive health is one of the first functions of the body to be compromised by stress and nervous disorders.
It is: anti-nausea + anti-ulcer + appetite regulator + gastro-protective + carminative + digestive + laxative.
Consequently, it influences motility and gastric acidity, whilst also reducing gastroesophageal reflux.
Bergamot FCF Essential Oil is also anti-inflammatory. Specifically, it reduces inflammation and helps recalibrate our immune response by optimising efficiency and minimising negative impacts.
As Bergamot FCF Essential Oil is cortisone-like, it acts as a pituitary-adrenal cortex stimulant, which is beneficial for those suffering from prolonged inflammatory conditions, such as the 140+ known autoimmune diseases etc.
Additionally, Bergamot FCF Essential Oil is antiviral and antibacterial, which also supports immune function, thereby reducing immune stressors.
As Bergamot FCF Essential Oil is analgesic as well as anti-inflammatory it possesses potent pain-relieving potential. Pain is a key promoter of stress, and nervous system excitation.
Wild As The Wind also carry an Organic Bergamot FCF Essential Oil.
Rosemary Cineole Essential Oil
Rosemary Cineole Essential Oil is considered to be the best essential oil for mitigating the harms we are exposed to from wireless technologies. It also has broad-spectrum benefits for those with neurological issues from other sources, and is thus excellent at reducing stress within the body.
Rosemary Essential Oil is thought to be all of the following:
Analgesic + antibacterial + antidepressant + antifungal + anti-inflammatory + antimicrobial + anti-nociceptive (blocking the detection of a painful or injurious stimulus by sensory neurons) + antioxidant + antiseptic + anti-spasmodic + anti-stress + anxiolytic(antianxiety) + astringent + carminative (supports digestive health & reduces flatulence) + cognitive-enhancement + decongestant + detoxifying + disinfectant + laxative + psycho-stimulant + stimulant + tonic
Please consult the Glossary Of Terms for further insights.
There are three key ways in which Rosemary Cineole Essential Oil can reduce uncomfortable symptoms of neurological disorders. It is analgesic, anti-nociceptive and anti-inflammatory.
In addition to reducing the discomfort of neurological issues, these actions also considerably reduce bodily stress levels. As Rosemary Cineole Essential Oil is also anxiolytic and antidepressant, it again helps to minimise the stress response within the body.
And, as an anti-spasmodic, Rosemary Cineole Essential Oil provides profound relief for the neurological systems of the body.
Because inflammation causes damage to the myelin sheath (the protective coating around our nerves), all anti-inflammatory essential oils are particularly beneficial for preventing neurological disorders as well as mitigating the symptoms of these conditions.
As an antioxidant, Rosemary Essential Oil also helps to detoxify toxic chemicals from the body, which are often a contributory factor, if not the root cause of many neurological conditions.
Cognitive-enhancement studies have shown that Rosemary Cineole Essential Oil stimulates increased alpha wave function in the brain. Alfa wave processes are responsible for problem-solving, alertness and rational thinking. And, as a psycho-stimulant, it improves memory and brain function, making it of great importance for those suffering from brain fog and memory issues.
An important study into the neurological benefits of Rosemary Cineole Essential Oil concluded:
In brief, our results suggest the occurrence of the positive stimulatory effects of rosemary oil inhalation. These findings provide evidence that brain wave activities, autonomic nervous system responses, and mood states can all be modified with rosemary oil inhalation. The results support that there are medicinal benefits of rosemary when used as a stimulant in essential oil treatments.
The study also noted an increase in blood pressure and heart rate as part of the stimulatory action of Rosemary Cineole Essential Oil. Therefore, those suffering from hypertension should seek advice from a healthcare professional before use of this blend.

Geranium Essential Oil
Geranium Essential Oil health benefits are thought to include: Antianxiety + anti-acne + antibacterial + anti-depressant + antifungal + anti-inflammatory + antimicrobial + anti-neuro-inflammatory + antioxidant + antiseptic + anti-spasmodic + antiviral + aphrodisiac + astringent + cicatrisant (wound healing / formation of a cicatrix) + deodorant + diuretic + sedative + tonic + vermifuge (kills intestinal worms) Geranium Essential Oil has been shown to help with:
- Neuralgia
- Urinary & Liver Tonic
- Anxiety & depression
- Fatigue
- Stress-related Conditions
- Trauma
- Grief
- Mental clarity
- Sedative
- Nerve tonic
- Inflammatory physical & emotional pain
Geranium Essential Oil is one of the best aromatherapy oils for dealing with intense stress and managing overwhelming emotions. It is inspirational, uplifting, and energising, easing mood swings, anxiety and anger states, as well as trauma & depression.
It is also recognised for its ability to mitigate the symptoms of PMS and menopause.
Geranium Essential Oil helps to restore confidence, and release anger. It eases heartbreak and grief, helping those locked in an emotional prison to start expressing and releasing their emotions.
It is especially helpful for women, but men also benefit from this deeply supportive aromatherapy oil.
Geranium Essential Oil is a natural diuretic, which stimulates the kidneys, promoting urination, and the release of stored toxins, pollutants and stress hormones.
It also removes excess bile and acids from our stomach, thereby releasing feelings of anger.
Because Geranium Essential Oil supports respiratory function, it works to prevent respiratory infection. As stress and emotional dysregulation decreases our natural immunity, those of us who are enduring traumatic conditions are much more likely to contract seasonal colds and flu.
Calm Essential Oil Blend Physical & Emotional Benefits
Calm Essential Oil Blend provides digestive and respiratory support.
All of the essential oils in Calm Essential Oil Blend support our respiratory functions. This is critically important.
Stress and emotional dysregulation decrease our natural immunity. This means that those of us who are enduring traumatic conditions are much more likely to contract seasonal colds and flu.
Preventing respiratory infection is important, especially as it is understood that heartbreak and grief undermine lung function. Anger is known to compromise liver function. This is why it is also important that all three aromatherapy oils in Calm Essential Oil Blend are hepatoprotective too.

Beautiful smell. Induces a subtle peacefulness, like a hug in a bottle. I use this in my counselling practice to help ground clients who are triggered. I often use it in a diffuser too, which brings a sense of calm to the room.
